Thousands Rally in Tel Aviv for an October 7 State Inquiry

Thousands gathered at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv on Saturday evening, October 24, demanding an independent state commission of inquiry into the failures surrounding the Hamas-led attack of October 7, 2023. The rally, called “For Them,” was organized by the October Council, which represents former hostages, bereaved families and survivors. Gadi Eisenkot, Avigdor Liberman and Yair Golan were among those attending. Participants also included former hostage Danielle Aloni and Rabbi Elchanan Danino, whose son Ori was murdered in Hamas captivity.
