Trump Says Iran Wants a Deal but Questions Whether It Will Honor One

U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran wanted an agreement but questioned whether its leaders would comply with one. Speaking to reporters in Palm Beach about reports that Iran was preparing attacks on American targets in the Middle East, he accused its leadership of killing Americans and supporting terrorism over many years. Trump left his next move uncertain, saying he might bring the situation to an end or might not. His remarks combined criticism of Iran’s leadership with doubt about whether Tehran would keep an agreement.
