Smotrich Attacks Eisenkot’s Partners Over Lod in Final-Day Election Appeal

Bezalel Smotrich accused people he described as Gadi Eisenkot’s senior partners of antagonizing Jews in Lod in an October 26 election message. The Religious Zionism leader presented the allegation as a reason to back his party in the following day’s vote, without identifying the partners or describing their conduct in the post. He also warned voters against supporting parties he said would fail to clear the electoral threshold. Smotrich urged them to choose the ballot slip marked with the Hebrew letter Tet.
