SolarEdge Reportedly Cutting About 200 Jobs Worldwide

SolarEdge is reportedly carrying out another round of workforce reductions affecting approximately 200 employees worldwide, about 10% of its staff. Market sources estimate that a few dozen of the affected positions are in Israel, although the exact Israeli total was not specified. The Israeli company, led by Shuki Nir and traded on Nasdaq, makes equipment for solar-energy systems, including inverters and power optimizers. The reduction follows several earlier rounds of cost cutting at the company in recent years.
