Maris-Tech Receives Repeat Order for UAV Video-Processing Boards

Maris-Tech announced on October 29 that it had received a follow-on order from an Israeli defense-industry company for boards in its Neptune product family. The Rehovot-based company said the boards are intended to integrate its video-processing technology into mission computers aboard unmanned aerial vehicles. The customer was not named, and the announcement gave no order value, quantity or delivery timetable. The company described the boards as handling camera-video capture, processing, encoding and transmission within an aircraft’s existing computing architecture. It said the integration approach addresses the size, weight and power constraints of airborne platforms. These are the capabilities Maris-Tech attributes to its technology; the announcement did not disclose a new operational deployment or identify a particular aircraft using the boards. The order follows earlier deliveries to the same customer, according to Maris-Tech. Chief executive Israel Bar said: “Follow-on orders are important to us because they reflect the ongoing use of our solutions in customer systems.” The company supplies edge video and artificial-intelligence systems for defense and security applications, with products intended for UAVs, ground and armored vehicles, and dismounted systems. It did not announce a specific next milestone for this order.
