Netivei Israel Announces Night Closures of Route 42 Ramp to Northbound Route 4

Netivei Israel has announced nighttime maintenance on the ramp connecting southbound Route 42 to northbound Route 4 near Bnei Darom, north of Gan Yavne junction. The work is scheduled for November 1 through November 6, between 22:00 and 05:00. The ramp will be fully closed during working hours. The announced work includes milling the existing asphalt and laying a new surface. Crews are also scheduled to paint road markings and install raised reflective road studs, commonly called cat's eyes. These tasks form part of the maintenance and resurfacing works announced for the connecting ramp. The diversion directs motorists travelling south on Route 42 to continue to Gan Yavne junction rather than take the closed ramp. They are to turn back onto northbound Route 42 and use the following junction to reach northbound Route 4. The temporary arrangement therefore changes how southbound drivers join the northbound highway during the overnight work. Netivei Israel apologized for the temporary inconvenience and asked drivers to prepare for the traffic arrangements and follow instructions at the site. The stated work window begins on November 1 and runs through November 6, with the closure applying during the announced nighttime hours.
