Israel Meteorological Service Forecasts Light Rain Before Weekend Warming
Published
The Israel Meteorological Service forecasts a slight drop in temperatures on Friday, October 30, with most of Israel becoming slightly cooler than the seasonal norm. Its national outlook calls for partly cloudy skies and local rain, mainly light, during the morning in northern and central parts of the country. Light local rain could continue into the afternoon, chiefly along the northern coast. The same national forecast calls for partly cloudy conditions for Friday night. The afternoon rain forecast is more geographically limited than the morning outlook. For Saturday, October 31, the service expects partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with cloud cover mainly at high altitude. Temperatures are forecast to edge upward. The service says, “Temperatures will return to seasonal norms in most areas.” The outlook for Sunday, November 1, is partly cloudy to clear, with another slight temperature increase concentrated mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Those areas are expected to become slightly warmer than their seasonal norm. On Monday, November 2, partly cloudy to clear conditions are forecast again, with a further slight rise bringing temperatures above seasonal norms across most of the country.
