Wix Introduces Studio Two With AI Tools and Portable React Projects

Wix announced Studio Two on November 2, introducing a web editor for agencies and professional creators that combines AI generation, visual design and React code. The company said a phased rollout would begin with Wix Partners before gradually reaching all users. Existing Wix Studio sites will remain supported, and partners can use both editors during the transition. The editor lets creators import projects, export them as standard React projects and work on them in external tools such as Claude, Codex and Cursor before bringing them back. Wix said finished sites can run on its infrastructure or be deployed elsewhere. Browser-based Visual Studio Code also provides direct access to the code within the editor. Studio Two includes Aria 2.0, which Wix says can refine designs, build components, connect data and carry out tasks. Its Skills feature saves instructions and workflows for reuse across projects. Model Context Protocol capabilities allow AI agents to interact with Wix business services, including Wix Stores and Wix Bookings. Gali Erez, Wix's vice president of Studio Two, said: “They stay in control of the result, while Wix provides the tools to make that work ready for clients.” The company said Studio Two shares its foundation with Wix Harmony, launched this year for people building their own sites. Partners can open Harmony sites in Studio Two for further development.
