Eco Wave Power Reports Secure Energy-Transaction Demonstration at Jaffa Port
Eco Wave Power disclosed on November 5 that its Jaffa Port installation in Israel had been used to demonstrate authenticated energy data and secure automated transactions. Its U.S. subsidiary signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with WISeQey, together with SEALSQ and SEALCOIN, for further development and evaluation. The companies say the demonstration linked physical power-generation data to a digital representation whose origin and integrity could be verified. Authenticated production data then initiated an authorized, auditable transaction between identified parties under predefined commercial conditions. The work combines Eco Wave Power’s renewable-energy equipment with SEALSQ secure semiconductors, WISeQey digital identity technology and SEALCOIN machine communication and transaction infrastructure. Eco Wave Power founder and chief executive Inna Braverman said: “Our ambition is to bring wave energy into that ecosystem.” The partners will evaluate possible applications involving AI data centers, industrial facilities, energy aggregators and utilities. They also intend to explore SEALSQ’s QS7001 secure element and quantum-resistant cryptography; the announcement does not describe that integration as completed. The company stressed that the initial demonstration is neither a physical electricity-supply agreement nor a completed financial settlement. Any deployment remains subject to technical validation, regulatory requirements and separate commercial agreements. A live demonstration and discussion are scheduled for November 19 at 13:45 CET at Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic in Cannes, France, during Quantum Days 2026.
