One Zero Receives Investment Approaches as Shashua Disputes Sale Report
One Zero and its shareholders have received approaches concerning investment in the Israeli digital bank, according to a bank response published on November 8. Owner Amnon Shashua disputed a report that he was seeking to sell control, saying: “There are talks about investments, white label and the like.” No completed sale or agreed ownership change was announced. The report described presentations and discussions led in recent weeks by chief executive Eyal Gafni and chairman Shuki Oren, with at least three organizations entering a data room. It named investment house Meitav and businessman Moti Ben-Moshe as interested parties. The reported discussions involved a valuation of NIS 1.1–1.2 billion and a possible combination of fresh capital for the bank and purchases of some of Shashua’s shares. Those terms remain reported proposals, rather than a confirmed transaction. The bank’s response was narrower. It said several parties had approached the bank and its shareholders in recent months about investments and complementary activities, and that it would provide an update when there was something to report. It did not identify an investor or confirm a price, ownership structure or sale of control. One Zero formally opened to the public in 2022. Reported first-half 2026 revenue was NIS 66 million, up 33% from a year earlier, while public deposits stood at NIS 3.8 billion at the end of June. Any purchasers would require Bank of Israel approval, according to the report.
