I just finished watching the entire episode of the Taqārub podcast with @motazazaiza9. Instead of judging him based on short Reels, whether you agree or disagree with his views, style, or personality, the guy is a decent person, trying his best and speaking from the heart with honesty. His feelings of anger, pain, depression, survivor’s guilt, disappointment, and trauma express all of Gaza. If you have reservations about something he said or did, advice is a million times better than demoralization, cancellation campaigns, and accusations of betrayal, especially toward someone who is deeply hurt and needs comfort; the smallest word can hurt him and increase his pain. “May God have mercy on the person who showed me my faults,” as our master Umar said. None of us is without flaws, but pointing out flaws should not be done through public shaming and taunting.
