Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz: “Given the possibility that, due to the economic stranglehold and intense pressure Iran is under, it may decide to take action against Israel, I once again warn the Iranian leadership: Any attack on Israel, for any reason and from anywhere, will be met with a powerful response that will inflict severe damage on Iran--damage it has never suffered before--including strikes on its key energy facilities, which provide resources and capabilities for Iran’s war and terrorism apparatus and for attacks against Israeli civilians. “In accordance with the directives of the prime minister and myself, the IDF is on alert and prepared to carry out the mission. “Such a blow would set Iran back decades and further destabilize the ayatollah regime, which the Iranian people so deeply despise and long to see fall.”

So far, there are no reports of fatalities from the latest Iranian ballistic missile barrage. Iran did use cluster warheads. Think of roughly 40 soccer ball sized explosives scattering from the sky across a wide area. When Iran used these weapons against Israel, submunitions were dispersed across an area roughly 8 km in radius. We still don’t know the full extent of injuries or damage, but these cluster warheads are extremely dangerous.
IRGC statement regarding tonight’s ballistic missile attack: “The F-35, F-16, and F-15 fighter jet maintenance, preparation, and storage facilities in Al-Azraq air base, along with fighter jet shelters, were targeted.”

Iran launched at least 35 ballistic missiles at U.S. positions in Jordan tonight. Tehran may now be on the menu.
From monitoring IRGC accounts, this is the messaging they are pushing: Don’t go for the kiII yet. Wait until 2 or 3 weeks before the elections, then go all out. That would be on the IRGC’s terms. The U.S. most likely has different terms. Interesting days ahead.
