Jordan’s armed forces said air defenses engaged 20 ballistic missiles fired toward the kingdom from Iranian territory early Wednesday. Eighteen missiles were intercepted and destroyed, while two fell in unpopulated areas. Field assessments recorded no casualties, and specialized teams began securing locations where debris and shrapnel landed. The military urged residents not to touch unidentified debris and said monitoring and evaluation remained underway after the renewed attack.
