IRGC Claims Combined Missile-and-Drone Strikes on U.S. Bases in Erbil

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it carried out combined missile-and-drone strikes against U.S. bases in Erbil, in Iraq's Kurdistan Region. The IRGC claimed the attacks destroyed a maintenance facility, technical-equipment warehouses and the guidance system for an American surveillance balloon. It also said fuel-storage tanks caught fire and an unspecified number of U.S. personnel were killed. No United States or Iraqi official had independently confirmed the claimed damage or fatalities as of early Wednesday, and the exact strike time was not reported.
