Kuwait Says Air Defenses Intercept Iranian Drone and Missile Attacks

Kuwait's Army General Staff said its air defenses were confronting hostile Iranian missile and drone attacks early Wednesday. It said the explosions heard in the country were caused by air-defense systems intercepting the attacks. The military instructed residents to follow official security and safety guidance as the response continued. The statement did not give the number of incoming projectiles and reported no casualty or damage assessment, leaving the scale and effects of the attacks unclear. It also did not identify specific targets or say where the interceptions occurred.
