At 04:35 Israel time on Thursday, Kuwait’s General Staff said its air-defense systems were actively confronting a new Iranian missile and drone barrage. The military described the attack as Iranian aggression and said explosions heard across Kuwait resulted from defensive interceptions. It instructed residents to comply with official security and safety guidance as the engagement continued. The statement did not identify the intended targets, give the number of incoming weapons or successful interceptions, or report casualties or damage, leaving the scale and immediate effects of the overnight assault unspecified.
