Iran FM Threatens Israel as Doha Technical Talks Continue

Israeli threats against supreme leader will be met with a lesson: Iran FM

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned Wednesday that any threat against Iran's people or leadership would draw an immediate powerful response after Defense Minister Israel Katz said Mojtaba Khamenei was marked for death. Araghchi claimed the Islamabad MoU obligates President Trump to restrain Israel, writing that Iran would school its enemies if they ignored Washington. Israel should read Tehran's language as coercive bargaining: diplomacy can continue, but Israeli freedom to stop Iran and its proxies cannot be surrendered to regime threats.
