IDF Kills Hamas Captor Tied to Daniel Peretz Abduction

The IDF and Shin Bet said at 11:00 IDT that a northern Gaza strike killed Muhammad Naim Jandiya, head of military security in Hamas's Shejaiya Battalion. The agencies said Jandiya commanded a Nukhba cell that raided Nahal Oz on October 7 and took part in abducting the body of Capt. Daniel Peretz, a tank commander killed defending Israel. He was also responsible for holding Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka and Alon Shamriz in a Shejaiya tunnel before their tragic deaths. Israel is right to keep closing accounts with Hamas captors while forces remain deployed to remove immediate threats under the agreement.
