Ashdod Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt on Bnei Brit

A motorcyclist about 25 was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Sderot Bnei Brit in Ashdod. The emergency call reached MDA's Lachish dispatch at 18:43 IDT on Friday; medics treated the rider for a serious head injury and evacuated him by intensive-care ambulance to Assuta Ashdod. United Hatzalah volunteers also gave first aid at the scene before hospital transfer. This is local public-safety news, but it is a real reminder that Israel's busy urban corridors need careful driving, emergency access and road-safety enforcement even on a tense wartime weekend.
