Haifa Stabbing Seriously Wounds Man; Suspect Arrested

Police arrested a 53-year-old Karmiel resident after a July 5 stabbing on Halutz Street in Haifa left a man in his 40s seriously wounded. Magen David Adom teams reported the call at 8:42 p.m., treated the conscious victim for significant penetrating wounds and evacuated him by mobile intensive care unit to Rambam Health Care Campus. Israeli reports carried the same police and MDA outline, with police expected to seek a remand extension after questioning. Israel's emergency responders and local police must keep city streets secure while the court process tests the evidence against the suspect.
