Hamas Breach Ruling Could Renew Gaza Fighting
Israeli officials assess the Peace Council could decide within two to three months that Hamas is violating the Gaza agreement. Such a ruling, possibly near September, would let Israel operate more broadly inside Hamas-held territory if the terror group keeps arming instead of disarming. The pressure point remains the same: Hamas still holds weapons and population control while the Board of Peace, ISF and civilian-zone planners try to build alternatives. Israel should prepare for renewed action while making clear that Hamas, not Israel, is blocking a safer Gaza.
