Settlers Seize Jalud Home Built for Newlywed Son
Times of Israel carried Reuters at 14:26 IDT that Mohammad Salameh says a group of Israeli settlers seized the unfinished two-story home he was building in Jalud, near Nablus, for his recently engaged son. Reuters-verified video, cited in the report and in international syndications, showed at least six people on the roof, while Ground News listed the same Reuters story across five outlets. The IDF told ToI soldiers arrived and dispersed a gathering, and said law enforcement against civilians in Judea and Samaria is a police responsibility; police did not respond. Israel's claim in the disputed territories is strongest when Jewish history is paired with disciplined rule of law and protection for all lawful residents.
