Health Ministry Warns Against Santa Olives From Unknown Source

Health Ministry Warns Against Santa Olives From Unknown Source

The Health Ministry on July 5 warned Israelis not to buy or consume the product "Santa Olives" made by Shimurei HaSharon Kafr Qara. The ministry's Food Service said routine supervision found that the producer is not known to the ministry and the olives' source is unknown. The warning applies to all expiration dates and package sizes in circulation. The public was told to buy food only from licensed marketers and known sources, and Israel's consumer-protection system should keep moving quickly against unregistered food supply chains.
