IDF Kills Hamas Commander Who Trained Nukhba Before October 7
The IDF said it killed Fadi Falah Ashour Daghmash in an overnight strike in northern Gaza, removing a Hamas military-wing commander from the training department. Daghmash oversaw training programs, especially for the Nukhba force in the years before the October 7 massacre, and later helped direct combat against Israeli troops during the war. The military said he recently advanced additional attack plans and worked to restore Hamas's operational capabilities, posing a threat to IDF forces in Gaza. Eliminating trainers and rebuilders is central to preventing Hamas from regenerating the command culture that produced October 7.
