IDF Arrests 20 Suspects in Overnight West Bank Counterterror Raids

Israel National News

IDF and Shin Bet forces apprehended 20 wanted suspects in overnight counterterror raids across Judea and Samaria between Tuesday night and Wednesday, targeting individuals accused of planning a terror attack, arms dealing, drug smuggling, human trafficking and Hamas affiliation. Soldiers searched more than 50 structures in the Jenin area during an airborne operation and detained five suspects in Hebron after a gunfire exchange, plus four in Tulkarm with suspected Hamas ties and one in Funduq accused of terror incitement. The Judea Brigade also questioned additional suspects in the sector. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir warned Monday that October 7-style raids remain possible from the West Bank while forces are stretched across fronts in Lebanon and Gaza, and said he is not prepared to manage risks in the sector.
