U.S. Keeps Iran Technical Talks Open After MOU Breach Warning

A senior U.S. official said Washington is still committed to finding a resolution with Iran and that technical talks continue, even after President Donald Trump said the MOU and ceasefire were effectively over. The official called the 60-day ceasefire and MOU performance-based, said Iran's actions were failed performance at an unacceptable level and described attacks on innocent vessels as terrorism. The statement followed two days of U.S.-Iran strikes around the Strait of Hormuz and comes as Israel warns Iran must never use diplomacy to rebuild nuclear, missile or proxy threats. For Jerusalem, continuing talks matter only if they preserve free navigation, block an Iranian nuclear weapon and keep Israeli freedom of action against Tehran's axis.
