IDF and Police Open Joint Probe Into Officer Eitan Kentman's Death

IDF officer Eitan Israel Kentman, 23, of Neria, was found dead Sunday morning in central Israel. The military said the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division and Israel Police opened a joint investigation, whose findings will be sent to the Military Advocate General for review; no cause of death was announced. Kentman grew up in Beit El, studied at the Bnei Binyamin and Mitzpe Yericho yeshivas, and completed computer-science studies in 2025 through the academic reserve program before entering service as an academic professional officer. He is survived by his parents and five siblings, and the IDF said it will continue supporting his family.
