Bania Smotrich and Wife Tamar Welcome Second Son After Wartime Recovery
Bania Smotrich and his wife Tamar welcomed their second son on Sunday, four months after the combat soldier was seriously wounded while serving against Hezbollah on the Lebanon front. The baby was born at Hadassah Ein Kerem, the same Jerusalem hospital where Bania underwent treatment after shrapnel injuries. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said he and his wife Revital returned to the hospital this time to embrace their grandson, after the family had received Bania back through what he called a miracle. He praised Tamar and Bania and ended his announcement with "The people of Israel live."
