U.S. Ends Iran Strike Wave After Hitting Air Defenses and Missile Sites

U.S. Central Command said American forces completed a new wave of strikes against dozens of Iranian military targets at multiple locations. It said fighter aircraft, naval vessels, one-way attack aerial drones and, for the first time, one-way attack sea drones hit air-defense systems, coastal radars, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats. The operation aimed to reduce Iran's ability to attack international shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM said Iran does not control the waterway and U.S. forces remain positioned to protect commercial navigation amid Tehran's continued threats.
