Cabinet Approves Sha-Nur East as Government's 104th New Community

Israel's political-security cabinet approved a proposal by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Defense Minister Israel Katz to establish a new community in northern Samaria near Sha-Nur. The site carries the temporary name Sha-Nur East until an official name is chosen. Plans place it on state land east of Sha-Nur, near Roads 5725 and 60, under the Samaria Regional Council, with land allocated through the World Zionist Organization's Settlement Division for homes and infrastructure. It is the 104th community approved during the current government's term.
