Gunman Shot by Police Dies After Sulam House Attack

Northern District police operating in Sulam near Afula as part of preparations for a dispute between families saw a man firing at a house Tuesday night. Police said officers fired at the gunman and critically wounded him. United Hatzalah medics performed resuscitation on the man, approximately 30, before declaring him dead at the scene. A second young man was moderately wounded and taken to HaEmek Medical Center for further treatment. Police said the incident had a criminal background and that further details would follow.
