Heat Stress Intensifies as Temperatures Climb in Israel

Israel's Meteorological Service forecast a slight Tuesday temperature rise, mainly in the hills and inland areas, with readings there somewhat above seasonal norms and worsening heat stress. Morning cloud cover is expected to clear, leaving sunny conditions, while the night should be clear to partly cloudy. Forecast highs include 41°C in Eilat, 39°C in Beit She’an, 37°C in Tiberias and Ein Gedi, 34°C in Beersheba and 31°C in Jerusalem. A morning-to-midday heat-stress alert covers the Jordan Valley, Beit She’an Valley and Kinneret Valley; similar conditions are expected Wednesday.
