Iran Says Overnight U.S. Strikes Wounded More Than 260

Iran's Health Ministry said Wednesday that more than 260 people were wounded in the latest overnight U.S. airstrikes across the country. U.S. Central Command said the seven-hour wave hit dozens of missile, drone and coastal-defense targets to degrade Tehran's ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian state television said a barracks of the 388th Mechanized Infantry Brigade was struck with at least 13 missiles, killing seven troops. U.S. forces resumed daylight strikes later Wednesday as Washington reimposed a naval blockade after Iranian attacks on shipping and neighboring Gulf states.
