U.S. Completes Seven-Hour Strike Wave Against Dozens of Iranian Targets

U.S. Central Command said it completed a seven-hour strike wave against Iran at 5 a.m. Israel time Wednesday, hitting dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and along Iran's coast. Fighter aircraft, drones and naval vessels used precision munitions against missile and drone sites, naval capabilities and coastal-defense systems. CENTCOM said the operation was meant to further reduce Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews. The wave began around 10 p.m. Israel time Tuesday, one hour before the United States resumed its blockade of maritime traffic entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas.
