Iran Threatens Regional Infrastructure if U.S. Strikes Its Power Network

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters threatened Thursday to strike all remaining infrastructure across the region if the United States attacks Iranian power plants, bridges or other infrastructure. Spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari said facilities left intact because of Tehran’s restraint would face the Iranian armed forces’ “iron blows.” He also declared that Iran would not permit U.S. involvement in managing the Strait of Hormuz, calling the waterway an inviolable red line. The warning followed President Donald Trump’s repeated threats to expand U.S. strikes against Iranian infrastructure as fighting and maritime confrontation intensified.
