U.S. Iran Strikes to Continue, Energy Targets Could Follow, Trump Says

President Donald Trump said late Tuesday that U.S. strikes on Iran would continue until he decided they were sufficient. He said Iran retained some ability to fight, but not much, and that Iranian energy targets would be kept for the end of the campaign. Trump also warned that power plants and bridges could be struck next week if Iranian officials do not return to the negotiating table and engage seriously. His remarks left the timing conditional on Iran's negotiating posture and did not identify particular facilities, cities or a specific day for any prospective attacks.
