Moshe Solomon Says He Will Not Run in Religious Zionism Primary

Religious Zionism MK Moshe Solomon said he will not run in the party’s coming primary, following Aliyah Minister Ofir Sofer’s announcement that he would not seek reelection. Solomon credited the party with achievements in settlement, security, the economy, governance and Israel’s Jewish identity. He said it had nevertheless moved away from its core path on Torah, military service and work, values he described as complementary rather than competing. Solomon said he has not decided his next political move but that his public mission will continue.
