Religious Zionism Names 10 Candidates for Sunday Primary

Religious Zionism closed registration and named 10 candidates for its Knesset slate primary on Sunday, July 26. Incumbents Michal Waldiger, Ohad Tal, Simcha Rothman, Zvi Sukkot and minister Orit Strock will compete with five newcomers, including Yesha Council chief executive Omer Rahamim. About 200 members of the party's central committee are expected to vote, principally in person, with limited remote voting for exceptional cases. Polling is scheduled first in the Modi'in industrial area from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., then in Jerusalem from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by results that evening.
