Police Prepare Road 4 Closures for Bnei Brak Draft-Arrest Protest

Israel Police prepared reinforced forces and warned that a Haredi protest against the detention of yeshiva students could disrupt traffic around Bnei Brak from about 4 p.m. Road 4 was expected to close in both directions between the Aluf Sadeh and Em HaMoshavot interchanges, with possible blockages and heavy congestion along Jabotinsky Road. Organizers from a Jerusalem Faction community called the demonstration over recent military arrests of draft absentees. Police advised drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes, while saying lawful protest would be protected but illegal blockages or public-safety threats would not be allowed.
