Sanz Rebbe Leads Prison 10 Protest Over Yeshiva Student Detentions

Thousands of Sanz Hasidim gathered outside Military Prison 10 at Beit Lid under the leadership of the Sanz Rebbe to protest the detention of two community members, a kollel scholar and a yeshiva student. The Rebbe interrupted a stay in Caesarea to attend and addressed the detainees from a stage outside the prison, telling them that Torah would not go bankrupt. Organizers said the two men were arrested when they visited a recruitment office to regularize their status, and a military court extended their detention by 20 days. The coordinated prayer rally proceeded without reported violence.
