Syria Seizes Long-Range Missiles and Drones Bound for Hezbollah

إحباط تهريب شحنة أسلحة معدّة لميليشيا حزب الله الإرهابية عبر ‏الحدود ‏السورية العراقية

Syrian Interior Ministry units seized a large weapons shipment at the Iraqi border that they said was bound through Syria for Hezbollah in Lebanon. The ministry said security forces inspected a suspicious vehicle in the border area and found long-range missiles, guided anti-tank missiles and drones. Preliminary evidence indicated the cargo was intended for the Iran-backed terrorist organization, while investigators worked to identify the people and networks involved. Damascus said it would not allow Syrian territory to be used to smuggle weapons or threaten Syria and neighboring states.
