Lebanon Says Suspected Israeli Agent Helped Target Four Hezbollah Security Chiefs

Lebanese authorities arrested a man close to Hezbollah on suspicion of spying for Israel, according to a judicial official following the investigation. The official alleged that the suspect supplied precise intelligence that contributed to strikes killing Hezbollah officials, including four senior security commanders. Authorities detained him last week at Beirut airport as he prepared to fly to Iraq. The southern Lebanon native, who is married to an Iraqi woman, allegedly traveled from Iraq to Turkey to meet people linked to Mossad and passed information about Beirut targets later struck by Israel; Israel has not publicly confirmed the account.
