Traffic Officer Questioned Over Alleged Obstruction in Jerusalem Murder Probe

Police Internal Investigations questioned a Traffic Division officer under caution Wednesday on suspicion of obstructing justice and breach of trust in the investigation into the killing of 19-year-old Benayahu Razi in a Jerusalem rental apartment. Investigators suspect the officer, a relative of one of the case's suspects, met two suspects shortly after the attack, learned what had happened, took steps that could obstruct the investigation and failed to report the information. She was released to three days of house arrest, an eight-day removal from police activity and a ban on contacting those involved. The murder investigation remains ongoing.
