Iranian media reported fresh explosions in Bandar Abbas on Friday night. The first exact report was published at 21:06 Israel time and said the blasts were heard in the Iranian city on the Persian Gulf. It did not identify the cause, number or precise location of the explosions, or report casualties or damage. Earlier Friday, U.S. strikes hit bridges and transport links in Hormozgan Province, including routes serving Bandar Abbas, during renewed fighting around the Strait of Hormuz, but those attacks were not confirmed as the cause of the new blasts.
