Likud Releases Recording to Challenge Injunction on Primary Rules

Likud released a recording Friday from a closed Constitution Committee meeting as it sought to overturn an injunction that halted voting on the party's primary rules. In the recording, committee chair Haim Katz puts attorney Eric Twito's proposal for full primaries without Netanyahu-reserved slots to a vote and announces, "Two in favor, everyone against." Likud legal adviser Ilan Bombach said a clerical error in the minutes wrongly showed the proposal as approved and led the Lod District Court to stop the vote. The social forum said it would present its arguments before the party tribunal.
