Pregnant Woman Lightly Wounded in Bat Yam Stabbing, Partner Arrested

A 44-year-old pregnant woman was found bleeding in her apartment on Ben-Gurion Road in Bat Yam early Friday after police say her partner stabbed her several times during an argument. Medical teams evacuated her to Wolfson Medical Center with light injuries, where doctors were assessing the pregnancy. Officers recovered a knife at the apartment and launched extensive searches after the suspect fled. Police located and arrested him in Holon, took him for questioning and planned to request an extension of his detention in court Friday morning.
