Two Firefighters Injured Battling Havat Gilad Wildfire

Two Israeli firefighters were injured while working to control the wildfire at Havat Gilad in Samaria, Fire and Rescue said Saturday evening. One was moderately injured and the other lightly injured, and both were evacuated for medical treatment. Dozens of firefighting and rescue crews from across Israel remained at the scene after the injuries. Their operation was supported by an observation helicopter and eight firefighting aircraft. The statement did not identify the firefighters, say how they were hurt, name the medical facility receiving them, or announce that the fire had been fully brought under control.
