Havat Gilad Crowdfunding Drive Raises NIS 5.6 Million in One Day

More than 22,000 donors contributed NIS 5,642,615 to a crowdfunding drive for Havat Gilad within 24 hours of the wildfire that damaged the Samaria community. Organizers said 15 family homes and 10 businesses were destroyed, while 10 more homes and warehouses were damaged or partially burned. The appeal is seeking immediate relief and rapid rebuilding for families left without homes and businesses that lost their premises. Fire investigators separately said they found no evidence linking the blaze to arson and attributed it to a cigarette discarded beside a main road.
