IDF's Longest Home Front Aid Mission Enters Third Week in Venezuela
Israel's Home Front Command has entered the third week of what the IDF described as the longest humanitarian assistance mission in the command's history. About 32 Israeli experts are working in La Guaira near Caracas, where hundreds of coastal buildings were destroyed, and are helping Venezuelan authorities shift from emergency response to long-term rehabilitation. Brig. Gen. (res.) Yossi Pinto said the team is helping build a national situation assessment, set priorities and support decision-making. He said most international missions have left, while Israel's delegation remains to share tools for a recovery expected to take months or years.
