Israeli Venezuela Earthquake Mission Ends After Three Weeks

Israel's joint Foreign Ministry and IDF aid delegation completed its field mission in earthquake-hit Venezuela and returned home after about three weeks. Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, met the Israeli representatives before departure, thanked them for their work and reviewed key elements of a national recovery plan developed with local authorities. More than 50 Israeli professionals assessed and classified damaged buildings across several affected areas and supported reconstruction efforts at Venezuela's request. Israeli expert teams will continue guiding Venezuelan authorities remotely, extending cooperation despite the absence of formal diplomatic relations between the countries.
